Algebra 1!

Parents, your student was given a letter to take home today concerning a survey to be administered in class on May 20th.  This was quickly passed down from the administration office to Bowie and then to me, so I apologize for the quick notice.  It is an anonymous survey concerning your student’s ambition about college, trade school, etc.  If you have any concerns or would like your child not to participate, please send a note with them and they will be excused.  Thanks for your help!

The Algebra 1 team revised the 5th Six Weeks calendar to create a more logical flow of information as we go into a new topic.  The new version is in the “Calendars” link to the right, please update your version!  Thanks.

Students and Parents,

With the beautiful Spring season comes illness, field trips, and various other happenings that may keep you from attending school.  In general, the assignments are posted on the website and in the classroom.  Also, if you have missed the day before a test, that does NOT necessarily excuse you from taking the test upon your return.  If you feel that you have not had adequate time to prepare, please speak with me BEFORE SCHOOL, DURING LUNCH, or AFTER SCHOOL concerning this matter.  If you wait until you have been handed the test or right before class, you are responsible for knowing that material.
