Hi, thanks for stopping by – I hope you’ll find this sight helpful and informative. My name is Leanne Boldt. I am entering my fourth year of teaching, my second here in the Austin area. I grew up in the Ft. Worth area and graduated college from Oklahoma Christian University with a degree in Math. Don’t let that scare you though, math was never really my thing in high school, in fact, I was in honors everything EXCEPT for math! I chose to major in math to challenge myself and learn a new way of thinking, so I hope I can share that experience with you. I found out that math isn’t really all that hard if you just practice and ask questions whenever you need to….there’s no such thing as a stupid question as long as you’re looking to learn from it.
When I’m not crunching numbers or laughing quietly while making you do so, I like participating in various sports, reading great books, watching Grey’s Anatomy, and of course, hanging out with friends. I very much look forward to getting to know you this year and helping you have a delightful experience in a somewhat intimidating subject!
